Voice & Messaging
Voice is who we are when we speak — constant. Tone is how we adjust for the moment, the audience, and the medium. This page covers both, plus the tagline system, elevator pitches, message pillars, and reusable copy blocks.
Voice in one sentence
Confident without being slick; specific without being jargon-heavy; warm without being folksy.
Three voice pillars
-
01
Rooted
We are of a place. Concrete nouns from the Texas landscape, working-farm vocabulary, proper names for waterways, dishes, and partners. No corporate-speak.
-
02
Rigorous
We back claims with numbers. We use scientific names where they matter. When we don't know, we say so. Confidence comes from evidence, not adjectives.
-
03
Generous
We share knowledge freely — recipes, husbandry notes, water-quality data, lessons from things that didn't work. We credit partners and assume the reader is intelligent.
